Summer Solstice Workshops 2025

Join me for one of my signature mini-retreat days. Saturday, June 21st.

This mini-retreat day centers around the summer solstice and offers participants an opportunity to pause for reflection and renewal at this high point of the year.

Taking time for deep reflection and re-calibration, can help us live more intentionally, harmoniously, and joyfully.

 

The day consists of a mindful mixed-level yoga class to cultivate inner body connection and balance. The yoga practice is immediately followed by a Yoga Nidra practice to help plug participants into their inner wisdom through deep relaxation and hypnotic meditation in order to clarify a heart vision which is called a San Kalpa in the Yoga Nidra practice. We'll take a break for lunch and then participants are welcomed in for a fun and soul enriching "vision statement" session. This session will provide several option for participants to deepen the connection to the inner sources of wisdom, support, and guidance. This will help practitioners to help harness the internal focus work from the previous two sessions so that energy can be used to support intentions and goals in the coming summer season. 

Schedule of Events

10 - 11:30 Mindful Mixed-Level Yoga Practice

For Inner Body Awareness, Balance, and Alignment

noon - 1:15 ~ Yoga Nidra - Deep Relaxation & Guided Meditation

Through deep relaxation, take an inner journey to "the cave of your heart." Recieve a San Kalpa  (vision of the heart) that arises from within through the meditation. Your San Kalpa can act as a source affirmation and guidance as you move into this next season of your life.

Break For Lunch 

2:45 - 4:15 ~ Heart Vision Statement Session 

 (Choose your own adventure style). Use a variety of "spiritual tools" to clarify and affirm your current heart vision. Kate will provide a set of journal prompts, a tarot/oracle card exercise (plus guidance as needed), and/or instructions to create a vision heart statement "art" piece. If you want to make a vision board, please bring your own materials. Otherwise, Kate will help you sketch out a vision board plan for you to work on after the workshop.

A note from Kate: much of my current work revolves around a simple set of questions: "What really matters now and where do I want to put my energy during this season of my life." Because life is so full of things to do, roles to play, responsibilities to fulfill, along with our own personal goals & needs; it's helpful to be clear about what we really want to do with our precious lives. If we don't decide for ourselves, life often decides for us. It's easy to get stuck in old routines, habits, and even relationships — simply because they are familiar. Taking time for deep soul reflection and affirmation, as well as physical/mental/energetic/emotional re-calibration can help us live more intentionally, harmoniously, and joyfully

 

This in-person workshop event will take place at Shine Yoga Center and consists of three modules. Feel free to sign up for individual sessions. A discount is offered if you sign up for all three. 

Pricing 

Full Day Discount = $55

10 - 11:30 Yoga ~ Regular class prices. Drop-in is $20 . You can use your regular class pass for the 10 am session. 

​noon - 1:15 ~ Yoga Nidra = $25

2:45 - 4:15 ~ Heart Vision Workshop = $30
