All of my public yoga classes are currently offered at Shine Yoga in the Hyde Park / Oakley neighborhood of Cincinnati, OH. Integral Core Restoration & Balance
Tuesdays 11:30 - 12:30
Restore & Rebalance Your Deep Inner Core
Establishing deep inner core stability can improve physical comfort and function. Deep Core focuses on the intrinsic core rather than your “surface” abs. Your intrinsic core includes the deep abdominal and lower back muscles, pelvic floor, hip rotators, spinal & muscles, and the rotator cuff muscles. This is an “easy” to moderate level class.
Self Care & Recovery Class
Wednesdays 6 - 7 pm
When what you need is a dose of loving care — for body, mind, heart, and soul — this class has it all. Formerly "Medicinal Movement", this class provides opportunities for your mind to rest, to stretch your body, to breathe your nervous system. back into balance, and to roll out stored stress and tension with myofascial release techniques. This class now has a larger component of more traditional yoga techniques to help calm the mind, clear out negative energy, and help you rebalance your body & mind.
Class format is for ALL levels and includes: mindful centering and breath-work, gentle muscle activation and release exercises, passive and active stretch techniques, myofasical release exercises which include rolling techniques, and deep relaxation which sets the tone for and energetic recalibration, recovery, and renewal.
The vibe is Yin and Restorative, with a few Functional Regenerative movement techniques interwoven, complemented by myofascial rolling exercises to release stuck stress and tension, which finishes with deep Relaxation for Body & Soul Recovery.
Good even for people who think, “yoga’s not for me.” I promise this will feel good!

An efficient full-spectrum mixed-level yoga class to help you rebalance your body & mind, release tension, and cultivate inner balance & harmony.

Regenerative Yoga (Gentle but Active)

Classic Yoga & Functional Movement to Aid Comfort & Range of Motion
This practice is made for those working with joint and spinal issues that require a more mindful approach to improve comfort and range of motion.
Strong & Wise (Intermediate & Advanced)
Saturdays 10 - 11:30
Long-Form for Experienced Practitioners • Full-Spectrum
Traditional Principles • Mix of Posture and Mindful Flow
Classic long form for experienced practitioners who understand the value of TRUE MINDFUL MOVEMENT.
Combo of mindfully paced posture & flow to cultivate deep inner well-being and harmony.

Medicinal Movement Series
Got everyday aches & pains that you wish would go away?
This class can help you find greater comfort and range of motion.
I made this class for those of us who want to move through common discomforts that may come with age and/or over-use issues. Functional movement and corrective exercises to help move through discomfort, rebalance the body for improved comfort and ease of movement. Each week will do a little all-over body refresher and then dig into a particular area each week... low back, hips, spine, neck, shoulders, knees, etc.
